At the event, WR1 signed a strategic cooperation agreement with VLA, becoming a Silver Sponsor for FWC 2025, marking their joint journey with VLA to bring the FIATA World Congress 2025 to Vietnam.
FIATA World Congress 2025 – A Global Logistics Event
FWC 2025, the most significant event in the global logistics industry, is not only an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its position on the world logistics map but also a catalyst for the sustainable development of the logistics industry in the region, while expanding the global supply chain network.
The Congress will take place in Hanoi from October 6-10, 2025, with the theme “Green and Resilient Logistics”. FWC 2025 is expected to attract 1,200-1,500 delegates from 150 countries, including leading prestigious organizations and leaders of international logistics associations.
Specialized Workshop: “Carbon Emission Reduction: From Strategy to Practice”
Amidst climate change and increasingly stringent CO₂ emission reduction commitments, green logistics is becoming an inevitable trend for the transportation industry to maintain sustainable growth.
According to a United Nations report, logistics accounts for about 14% of total global CO₂ emissions, with road transport being the main contributor.
Notably, Mr. Stephane Graber, Director General of FIATA, also made an appearance at the Road Show, where he emphasized: “Vietnam has a Net zero commitment by 2050 and is also connecting business with the European Union. Therefore, Vietnamese businesses need to change technologies such as smart transportation, digitalization… to reduce CO2 emissions during operations.”
At the Seminar, experts focused on practical carbon emission reduction solutions for businesses, including:
- Application of green technology: Using electric vehicles, biofuels, and energy-saving technologies.
- Supply chain optimization: Reducing empty truck trips, using smart warehouses, and modern transportation management systems.
- Digital transformation: Enhancing the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data to optimize transportation routes.
Business Networking: Promoting Cooperation Between Vietnamese Logistics Businesses and International Partners
In addition to in-depth content, the conference also opened up opportunities for networking and cooperation between domestic businesses and international organizations, helping the Vietnamese logistics community access advanced models and learn from the experiences of developed countries.
