The series of important annual international conferences in logistics including FIATA RAP, AFFA Mid-Year Conference and UNESCAP Conference will be held in Da Nang from July 13rd to 15th.

The Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA) will host the 2023 Asia-Pacific Regional Annual Meeting of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) and the mid-year meeting of the ASEAN Freight Forwarders Association (AFFA) in the central city of Da Nang from July 13 to 15.

Accordingly, FIATA Region Asia-Pacific (FIATA RAP) Annual Meeting, AFFA Mid-Year Conference and United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) for logistics service providers is expected to have the participation of representatives of 50 countries in the Asia-Pacific region with nearly 300 international logistics enterprises.

FIATA wishes the Conference is an activity to further promote the development of logistics enterprises in potential regions such as Asia – Pacific. At the Conference, FIATA leaders and participating businesses will discuss important issues such as Development of digital freight forwarders; Developing Vietnam into a new transport and logistics center of Asia; To develop cross-border transport and the East-West economic corridor; Global FIATA-IATA Air Cargo training program and benefits for the Asia-Pacific region…

At the AFFA Mid-year Conference, delegates will exchange and discuss the topics of Trade Facilitation for cross-border transport; Training human resources in the logistics industry; Sustainable development and digital transformation in the logistics industry…

In addition to important agendas, many side activities are held within the event’s time frame to connect domestic and foreign business exchanges. During and after the conference, there will be many prospects for signing cooperation agreements between Vietnamese enterprises and member enterprises of logistics associations in the Asia-Pacific region and the world. It also helps to strengthen friendship and solidarity among all members of the global freight forwarding, logistics and trade community.
