Turning back the pages of memory to 2022, the global and Vietnamese logistics industries witnessed a highly challenging period. Supply chains were severely disrupted, freight rates fluctuated constantly, and the market fell into deep fragmentation. Vietnam’s logistics sector at that time desperately needed a new direction—a neutral anchor where every fragmented link could connect and synergize shared values.

In November 2022, the WR1 brand was officially born. From its very first days, WR1 established its positioning as a Neutral Master Consolidator. This neutrality was vital: WR1 strictly refrained from competing for direct clients, choosing instead to stand firmly in the background, committing to be a solid anchor connecting all Freight Forwarders.

An Unfolding 4-Year Journey: Accumulation and Continuous Elevation

WR1’s journey is like an ever-unfolding book, marking a resilient spirit through 4 strategic chapters. Each phase is closely tied to practical operational milestones with profound community impact:

Phase 1: Genesis – Laying the Core Foundation for Consolidation (11/2022)

In its early days amidst the storm of supply chain disruptions, instead of spreading its resources thin, WR1 focused on solving the most critical problem for domestic Forwarders: space shortages and volatile LCL (Less than Container Load) freight rates.

WR1 swiftly established key LCL consolidation routes from Vietnam to major transshipment hubs in Asia. By building transparent pricing policies and standardized Co-loading procedures, WR1 created a safe haven, enabling small and medium-sized Forwarders to continue providing competitive services to their shippers.

Phase 2: Connection – Not just consolidating cargo, but “uniting” people (2023) 

Entering 2023, amidst a market downturn, WR1 chose a completely different perspective. Understanding that to overcome difficulties, the entire logistics ecosystem needed to come closer together, WR1 strove to create spaces for meaningful dialogue.

This was a pivotal year as WR1 maintained a continuous presence and actively contributed to major events such as the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition (VILOG) and the FIATA Asia-Pacific Region Annual Meeting (FIATA RAP). At the same time, WR1 officially opened its new office in Da Nang and organized engaging networking spaces like CornHorn, proving the aspiration that “when we come together, the entire logistics ecosystem grows stronger.”

Phase 3: Bravery – Forging inner strength amidst the storm (2024)

2024 brought new shockwaves with the Red Sea route disruptions and geopolitical instability. Instead of retreating, WR1 chose to forge its inner strength with two core keywords: Agile and Resilient.

WR1 actively participated in the international Uconnect Worldwide Network (UCN), boosted trade connections, and left a profound mark at the 5th Regional Logistics Forum. Through practical challenges, WR1 refined itself, clearly defining its distinctive working style: Professional, dedicated, and profound.

Phase 4: Transformation – The Era of Rising (2025 – 2026) 

2025 was defined as Vietnam’s era of rising, and WR1 did not stand on the sidelines. The aspiration to bring the spirit of Vietnamese enterprise to the global stage was strongly demonstrated by WR1 at top-tier international forums such as the FIATA World Congress and the UCN Global network.

This also served as the most solid stepping stone for WR1 to enter 2026 with a historic decision: Separating into an independent legal entity named WR1 Freight, officially elevating itself to become a Multi-Modal Consolidator.
